LENGKONG TATTOO BALI
Tattoo studio Bali. I Wayan Edy Wiguna as best tattoo artist in Bali. Since March 2015, I have been learning to become a tattoo artist. The first time I tried to become a tattoo artist was very difficult for me because there were no tattoo artists and tattoo studio Bali in my village. Therefore, I taught myself through self-study.
After a few years of practicing tattooing, I decided to participate in my first competition, which was held in Tabanan, Bali. Unfortunately, it didn’t go well for me. I joined the competition not only to win a prize but also to learn from and observe other tattoo artists who were more experienced than me.
After that experience, I gained a better understanding of the standard operational procedures involved in becoming a tattoo artist and best tattoo studio Bali.
Have questions or need to schedule an appointment? I’m here to help! Let’s bring your vision to life through exceptional tattoo artistry and tattoo studio Bali. Your satisfaction is my top priority, and I can’t wait to make your dream tattoo a reality in our tattoo studio Bali. Reach out now!

Tattoo Artist Preparation Stage
- Make sure your body is healthy and fit. If you are in an unwell condition, the tattooing session should be postponed and rescheduled to reduce the risk of disease transmission to the client and contamination in the workplace. If you have a cough or cold, please use a disposable mask.
- Wear clean, neat, and dry clothes. If possible, use disposable or washable aprons with a note that they must be replaced for each client. The apron should be removed when leaving the work area, such as during a break or when going to the restroom in the middle of the tattoo process.
- Make sure the work area is clean and tidy.
- Prepare all the tools and materials needed within close reach. Ensure that all tools used repeatedly are sterile, meaning they should still be in their autoclave packaging.
- Cover the client’s bed/seat, bottles, machines, clip cords, power supply and voltage control buttons, work lamps, tissue boxes, work desks, and other objects that are often handled with plastic. These items should be immediately disposed of after the tattooing process on each client is complete. This process is mandatory for each client.
- Prepare the ink tank on the rack where the ink handle is approximately the amount needed.
- Prepare a plastic cup filled with water.
- Items/tools that have been sterile and tools that are disposable are kept in the packaging and opened in front of the client.
- Prepare a special trash bin for tools that are disposable, including solid sharps containers, and prepare a container for dirty tools that are reused.
- Prepare disposable sticks (such as ice cream sticks) to apply Vaseline. Any remaining Vaseline that has been taken must be thrown away immediately. If you need to apply new Vaseline, use a fresh stick instead of the one that has been in contact with the client’s skin.
- Perform recommended hand washing procedures, then put on gloves.
Client Preparation Stage
- Make sure the client is healthy, fit and has eaten (avoiding the patient fainting/fainting while enduring pain with low sugar levels because he has not eaten).
- Ask the client about any regular or recent consumption of medical drugs or substances before their visit to the studio. Avoid performing the tattoo process on clients who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs, as it can result in excessive bleeding.
- Perform tattoo procedures only on healthy skin. It is not recommended to perform tattoo procedures on areas that have wounds, keloids, scars or recent burns, etc.
- The client’s skin must be cleaned with green soap to remove dirt and grease on the surface of the skin.
- If the skin area needs to be shaved first, use a disposable shaver and throw it away after use in a dirty needle disposal container.
- Prior to implementation, the skin area to be worked on and its surroundings must be sanitized using a disinfectant solution as follows: 70% or 95% alcohol is poured/sprayed on cotton/tissue and then rubbed on the skin or sprayed directly onto the skin and then wiped with a clean tissue.
Work Stage
- Check the gloves again to ensure there are no holes. Repeat this step throughout the tattoo process until it is finished, as there is a possibility of gloves developing holes due to friction between the latex and Vaseline.
- Double-check the condition of the newly opened sterile needle. Avoid doing the needle test on your skin.
- When adding ink, use a tissue to hold the bottle and ensure that the tip of the bottle does not touch the inkwell. Afterward, discard the tissue immediately and do not reuse it.
- Minimize holding unnecessary objects during the process. When needed, always use a tissue to handle objects such as a lamp or a power supply button. Dispose of the tissue immediately after use; do not reuse it multiple times. If you choose not to use a tissue, change your gloves every time you finish handling objects.
- When changing colors, clean the tip by dipping it into a plastic cup filled with water. Turn on the machine, lift it, and place a tissue on the tip. Repeat this process until the tip is clean. Avoid blowing on the tip, as it can transfer bacteria from the respiratory tract.
Completion Stage
- Clean the tattoo studio Bali from blood, ink, and other body fluids using a disinfectant liquid or soap containing a disinfectant.
- Use new gloves and apply a thin layer of antibiotic ointment.
- Cover the tattoo wound with a clean and sterile material to prevent contamination from bacteria, germs, or fungi in the environment or on the client’s clothing. It is preferable to use a covering material that can absorb fluids, allow the skin to breathe, and does not stick to the wound. Plastic cling wrap, which is often used, is not recommended as it restricts skin breathability, creates a warm and humid environment, and promotes faster development of germs, bacteria, and fungi.
- Provide an explanation regarding the treatment of new tattoos to clients.
- For self-protection, use gloves to open/remove the tip, grip, back tube, and needle from the machine. Place the tips, grips, and back tube in separate containers.
- Discard the needle in a special place.
- Dispose of dirty or contaminated objects, such as ink caps, plastic cling wrap used for equipment, plastic covers for benches/beds, dirty tissues, cotton, clipcord covers, and machine wraps, in a designated trash can.
- Bring reusable contaminated items for cleaning through cleaning and sterilization procedures.
- Remove the rubber band from the machine, and dispose of it in the trash. Proceed to perform the power tool cleaning process.
- Additionally, clean the container where dirty/contaminated objects are placed, and prepare them, along with the tip, grip, and back tube, for sterilization.
- Clean the work area, including bench/bed surfaces, work lamp handles, power supply, work table, clip cord cables, foot switch cables, etc., using a disinfectant liquid. Allow it to air dry for approximately 10 minutes. If necessary, wipe the area again with a clean, dry cloth to remove any lingering odors or stains.
- If there are splashes of ink or blood on the floor or wall, they should be cleaned immediately with a disinfectant liquid.
Management of sharp solid waste and waste contaminated with body fluids
- The waste generated by the tattoo studio falls into the category of B3 waste (Hazardous and Toxic Materials) due to its contamination by human bodily fluids and sharp nature. Therefore, it must be handled carefully and professionally.
- All disposable tools must be disposed of immediately after use for one client, as they come into contact with body fluids and should be considered contaminated.
- Sharp solid waste, such as tattoo needles and razor blades, must be disposed of in a closed, puncture-resistant, and water-resistant sharps container. Ideally, it should be a disposable sharps container that cannot be opened or resealed.
- Each sharps container unit must be emptied or disposed of every 3 days, as microorganisms can continue to reproduce within that time frame.
